Ginkgo biloba, Maidenhair tree, is an upright tree that often reaches 50 feet in height. Because of its resilience, it is often used as a street tree, hence why you will see it along Main Streets in both Lumberton and Medford. The spectacular golden fall foliage starts early. The fan shaped leaves of the tree are already beginning to turn color in the Medford Campus Community Building parking lot. These trees are especially fun to watch over the next weeks.
