Barton Arboretum and Nature Preserve

of Medford Leas

Geographic Information System

The Geographic Information System (GIS) is intended to be a central place for geographic information about Medford Leas. This includes links to projects and planning information, documentation and educational material. The initial impetus for this system came from a desire to map all the significant trees on the Medford and Lumberton campuses. The 168-acre Medford campus and the 88-acre Lumberton campus feature landscaped grounds, courtyard and patio gardens, wildflower meadows, recreational areas, and natural woodlands that constitute the Barton Arboretum and Nature Preserve.

The GIS system is housed in a separate Google-hosted site.
