Ginkgo biloba, Maidenhair tree, is an upright tree that often reaches 50 feet in height. Because of its resilience, it is often used as a street tree, hence why you will see it along Main Streets in both Lumberton and Medford. The spectacular golden fall foliage starts early. The fan-shaped leaves of the tree are already beginning to turn color in the Medford Campus Community Building parking lot. These trees are especially fun to watch over the next weeks.
