Phlox paniculata, commonly known as Fall Phlox, is a lovely flowering plant that adds rich color to the landscape.

June 27, 2025 – Buttonbush
Cephalanthus occidentalis or Common Buttonbush looks fantastic despite the recent triple digits. And like this bumblebee, we’re grateful!

June 6, 2025 – Medford Meadows
Following an overhaul and investment several years ago, the Medford Leas Meadow is truly spectacular this year. This week’s warmth provided a boost to the blooms and it is a sight to see.

May 23, 2025 – Flowering Dogwood
This year abundant rainfall benefits the exceptional blooms on the Dogwood trees. The petals range from pink to creamy white and are less delicate than some of their other flowering tree counterparts.

May 16, 2025 – Mountain Laurel
This spring has proven to be a banner season for buds and blooms! This week’s example is the Kalmia latifolia ‘Tiddlywinks’ aka, Mountain Laurel.
