June 23, 2023 – Stewartia koreana
Courtyard Garden 11 on the Medford Campus is home to the Stewartia koreana tree, a slow-growing, pyramidal native of Japan and the Korean peninsula.
June 16, 2023 – Meadows
We are so fortunate to have a Meadow on each of our campuses to enjoy as we are out and about in the Arboretum.
June 9, 2023 – Kousa dogwood
Always a treat to enjoy, the Cornus kousa dogwood is known for providing interest throughout the year.
June 2, 2023 – Yellowwood Tree
The ‘Perkins Pink’ Yellowwood trees (Cladrastis kentukea) along Woodside Drive are a treat to behold this year.
May 26, 2023 – Columnar trees
Columnar trees add beautiful color and a bit of grace to the Arboretum. They provide a wonderful contrast against wide-spreading trees.
May 19, 2023 – Fringetree
Chionanthus virginicus, commonly called Fringetree, is a deciduous tree with a spreading, rounded habit. The common name refers to the fragrant, spring-blooming flowers which feature airy clusters of fringe-like, creamy white petals.
