July 1, 2022 – Magnolias
Magnolia grandiflora, commonly known as the Southern Magnolia, is a member of the Magnoliaceae family. They are enjoyed throughout the year for their large dark green leaves, but especially beloved as they come into bloom with their large creamy colored flowers.

June 24, 2022 – Courtyard Garden 21
Long known as the “Holly Court”, Court 21 on the Medford Campus has recently had a refresh. A terrace has been installed which will give residents a new space to gather, as well as a number of new specimens.

June 17, 2022 – Courtyard Garden Two
As you are out and about on the Medford Campus, check out Courtyard Garden Two that has recently been refreshed! In addition to some new perennials and shrubs, a terrace with a low wall for seating has been installed.

June 10, 2022 – Medford Meadow
The Medford Campus Meadow is coming into bloom. As you are going along Estaugh Way, you can enjoy the penstemon, spiderwort and coreopsis.

June 3, 2022 – Kousa Dogwood
Even on a cloudy day, the Cornus kousa dogwood will brighten your day. This tree is a cousin to the American Dogwood and provides varied interest throughout the year.

May 27, 2022 – Rhododendrons
Along Medford Leas Way the conditions appear to be especially favorable this year for a wonderful show of blooms on the rhododendrons. The word “rhododendron” comes from two Ancient Greek word, “rhodon” which means rose and “dendron”, which means tree.
