Out and About in the Arboretum

Especially during these very warm days, it’s a great time to explore our Arboretum Website at www.bartonarboretum.org.

The Little Limelight Hydrangea can take the heat and keep on blooming, with creamy flowers that will last through the summer, and in fall will turn a rich pink color.

Vitex agnus-castus adds a soft lavender blush to the landscape.

On these sweltering hot days, as you are out and about, it could be a good time to pause and appreciate the value of trees during this summer weather.

In the warm weather, the brilliant colors of the Coneflowers (Echinacea) really stand out. The bees enjoy them as much as we do.
