Always a fan favorite, the Crape Myrtle trees are now in full bloom giving us pops of vibrant pink color throughout the Arboretum. One of the most visible and easiest trees to find and enjoy is the Lagerstroemia indica, located in the Atrium in the Community Building on the Medford Campus. The vibrant hot colored blooms thrive in the heat of the summer, and greet visitors, residents and staff alike as they pass by the Atrium. The spent blooms are especially pretty as they drop into the water feature.
