A fan favorite at the time of year is Callicarpa dichotoma, commonly known as Beautyberry. This small, rounded, shrub, and is now offering its showy fall display of lilac-violet berries. The birds will feast on these berries once the cold weather settles in. This is a wonderful native plant for all to enjoy. It can be easily found on the Medford Campus as you enter the Community Building on your left-hand side, or near the entrance to Court Ten from the Main Parking Lot.
