As the seasons change and cooler months approach, many plants around the arboretum will begin to produce berries. One such example is Callicarpa americana, or American Beautyberry, named for its purple berry clusters. This specimen can be found along the main walkway leading to the Community Building. Be on the lookout for it when Out and About.
