The change of seasons always yields exciting new things to see. Today, we’re featuring the mighty Bur Oak Tree, Quercus macrocarpa. This is one of the larger members of the oak tree family; the trunk may grow as large as 10 feet in diameter. We are fortunate to have a grove of these beauties at our main entrance by the silo, so look for them when Out and About.
