Today’s feature is Juniperus virginiana, also known as Eastern Redcedar, Red cedar, or various “Juniper” variations. The tree shown is on the edge of the meadow of the Medford Campus and as you can see, is currently loaded with beautiful blue berries. Birds will enjoy them as the weather continues to get cooler so look for both when Out and About.
