November 1, 2019 — October Glory

Acer rubrum ‘October Glory’ is a native Maple tree that is known for its exceptional fall color. It is often planted as a specimen tree, and there are a number of these trees on both Campuses. As you are on the Medford Campus, just across from the Oak Room, you have a bird’s eye view of a Maple from the indoors. You can watch it over the next weeks to see its color developing. The tree in the picture is located in Parking Lot C on the Medford Campus.
