September 10, 2021 — Crabapples
Along the side of the Medford Campus Community Parking lot there is a row of Flowering Crabapples. During the spring they grace us with beautiful rose colored blooms, and now as we enter the fall season we can enjoy the red and yellow fruit. A lovely sight to see. The birds will be attracted to the apples over the next couple of months.

September 3, 2021 – Court 7
check out Courtyard Garden 7 on the Medford Campus. Improvements and new plantings have been completed,
including some up-lighting to highlight specimens in the evening.

August 27, 2021 – Farewell, Ash Trees
As you have been out and about recently, you may have noticed that the Ash Trees at our Medford Campus Route 70 entrance have been felled. They had fallen victim to the Emerald Ash Borer.

August 20, 2021 – Lumberton Farm
Thanks to the collaborative work of residents and staff, the Lumberton Campus Community Garden has enjoyed a revival! Colorful flowers and plentiful vegetables are abundant and enjoyed by those participating in this year’s gardening.

August 13, 2021 – Medford Campus Farm
A banner year for the Medford Campus Farm! Both the tabletop gardens and farm plots are filled to the brim with color, by way of the flowers and fruit and vegetables!

August 6, 2021 – Crape Myrtle
What would August be without the Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia species) specimens coming into bloom? They give us a vibrant shot of color throughout the Arboretum. These bursts of color start earlier in warmer climates, but the end of July to the beginning of August is typical for our Burlington County location. These blooms thrive in the heat of the summer.
