May 27, 2018 – Peony Flower

The peony flower is considered one of the most scrumptious of all flowers — a rare fusion of fluff and fragrance. They are in bloom now and can be found highlighted in the Katzell Garden area within the Katzell Grove on the Medford Campus. This collection of peonies was donated by Dr. Dean Kinsey of Moorestown in 2006.

Perennial garden classics, peonies are loved throughout the world for their extravagant, early summer blossoms. The plants are dependable and incredibly long-lived. They thrive with little or no attention. Stop out soon to enjoy the unforgettable perfume.
