This spring has proven to be a banner season for buds and blooms! This week’s example is the Kalmia latifolia ‘Tiddlywinks’ aka, Mountain Laurel. Although on the compact side (reaching about 3 feet at full maturity) these plants produce beautiful pink blooms with very interesting star-like buds. This particular specimen is near the main parking lot so look for it when Out and About.
