We love Cornus mas so much that we have a number of them on our two Campuses. Commonly known as Cornelian Cherry, Cornus mas is a deciduous shrub or small tree. As the yellow flowers emerge it is a sure sign of spring to come.
The image here is taken as you come onto the Medford Campus, from New Freedom Road. Two Cornus mas were recently planted there and as you can see are protected from the deer population.
