Abelia x grandiflora is a graceful arching shrub that you will find in a number of locations around the Arboretum. The leaves are a glossy dark green, and unlike many shrubs that bloom in the spring, this shrub is in bloom right now. The white and pink blooms make it a perfect either as a specimen shrub or in a mixed border with other plantings. You can easily find Abelia in the atrium to the right of the entry to the Medford Campus Community Building or you can see it from the windows of the Maple Room. On the Medford Campus, other Abelia shrubs can be found in Courts 15 and 4.
