Magnolia grandiflora, commonly known as the Southern Magnolia, is a member of the Magnoliaceae family. They are enjoyed throughout the year for their large dark green leaves, but especially beloved as they come into bloom with their large creamy colored flowers. There are a number of these specimens on both our Medford and Lumberton Campuses. You can find them on the Medford Campus between Courts 29 and 40, in Court 5, and outside of the Woolman and Haddon Buildings by the Greenhouse.
