Along the walkway between the Coffee Shop and the Estaugh Building, you will see containers of hellebores. Genus Helleborus consists of approximately 20 species of herbaceous or evergreen perennial flowering plant. These plants are particularly valued for their winter and early spring flowering period and are surprisingly frost-resistant. You will see hellebores in bloom in Courts 17 and 25 later this season, but for now, you can enjoy the container on display in the walkway.
