During February, we often find ourselves looking forward to spring’s arrival. While this time is still in the future, it is encouraging to see the Witch Hazels coming into bloom.
You can find these shrubs on the Medford Campus in Court Six, as well as on the Lumberton Campus along Creek Road. Also, there is a grouping of them in Rushmore behind the garage of Building 62. The wispy blooms may last up to a month, and don’t worry about the cold; they can tolerate temperatures in the low 20s for several days.
