[su_row][su_column size=”1/3″]Yes, we know that the groundhog saw its shadow and we are in for many more weeks of winter, but a sure sign of spring to come arrived this past week with the first blooming of snowdrop flower bulbs (Galanthus) in the Atrium of the Community Building on the Medford Campus. Snowdrops grow best in moist, but well drained soil and since they bloom early, it is a good idea to plant them where they can be easily seen by a pathway or near a window.
