As you are visiting the Medford Leas Fitness Center, dining rooms, Gathering Room, and /or Holly Room, you will enjoy the view of the festively decorated Gazebo. Greenery, lights, bird feeders and a wonderful Williamsburg display of pineapple and fruit. The pineapple, native to South America, was imported to the Caribbean likely in the 16th century. When the pineapple was first served to guests in colonial America, it was a sought-after delicacy which guests so enjoyed. It is likely that this inspired the pineapple to be considered a sign of the highest form of hospitality.
