This week, we’re featuring a different type of beauty! The Limenitis arthemis, or Red-spotted Purple is a butterfly in near-constant motion! Flights are short in duration and at low altitudes, only two or three feet off the ground. When not in flight, the butterflies like walking over leaves, and open and close their wings, as captured in the photo. As you are Out and About, don’t forget to look for life among the trees.
