This past fall, residents, staff and members of the local community planted close to 1000 daffodil bulbs on the Medford Campus as part of a Pathways to Learning Program. Many of the daffodils are located in the wooded area along Medford Leas Way as you approach the Lois Forrest Nature Center.
This flower seems to be the most popular of spring blooming bulbs. An assortment of bulbs was planted to allow for about a month of color due to the different bloom times. After what feels like an extended winter season, we are all glad to welcome this cheerful flower.
